Boursin® Monte Cristo
Serves 4

Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 3 slices sourdough bread, 4" x 5" rectangular slices
  • 1/2 ounce heavy cream or half 'n half
  • 1 package (5.2 oz.) Boursin® Garlic & Fine Herbs
  • 2 1/2 ounces natural turkey breast, sliced 1/8" thick
  • 2 1/2 ounces smoked Farmland ham, sliced 1/8" thick
  • 2 - 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons grill oil or clarified butter
  • 1 ounce Melba sauce, for painting plate
  • powdered sugar to taste
  • 4 - 5 ounces sliced fresh strawberries tossed with 1/4 ounce Grand Marnier®
Instructions:
Preheat flattop grill to 350°F. Place three slices of bread on counter. In a bowl, mix Boursin Cheese with heavy cream until smooth. Spread evenly on two slices of bread. Top first slice with turkey breast. Lay second slice on top, Boursin side down. Spread top of sandwich with Boursin and top with ham. Spread last slice of bread with Boursin and place on top of ham, Boursin side down. Remove crust with sharp knife. Slice sandwich into 4 triangles. Oil grill. Dip each sandwich into egg batter, then directly place on grill. Turn using spatula. Heat and brown all sides. Serve atop Melba sauce on plate with fresh Grand Marnier strawberries.
