Pre-cook as many dishes as possible and freeze

Shop for the remaining items on your list including the fresh groceries and Boursin. Remember, each package of Boursin serves approximately six guests, so
make sure you buy enough

Maximize your refrigerator and freezer space

Prepare/plate foods, hors d'oeuvres, desserts
Buy ice
Pick up or arrange delivery of platters, flowers, cake, any last minute perishable groceries

Prepare kitchen
Clear counters
Empty dishwasher
Clean and put away pots and pans

Freshen/cool house or apartment by opening windows or turning up air conditioning
Shower, dress, and have a glass of wine!

Communicate with hostess helpers any last-minute instructions
